حرفی که تو میزنی منافاتی با حرف من نداره. نکته مهم اینه که خیلی از اقتصاددونها بر مینی کار تئوریکشون میدونستن که این رگولیشن ها باید باشه. ولی متاسفانه هم سیاست‌گزاران و هم اکثر اقتصاددونها به این بی توجهی کردند.

But you can't just deny those facts in the data. That is what they did. They reported facts. About regulatory and academia. There has been many papers that call for regulatory supervision. Read Holmstrom and Tirole. Or Fostal and Geanakopolos. Both were saying there should be supervision on leverage. So at least some people in academia knew what needs to be done based on theoretical work. The question why their message was not heard.  Pouyan

Lack of belief in financial regulation and overlooking illiquidity have been the weak points of academia in detecting the crisis.That was the reason the crisis came as a surprise last year.
